Avis Croatia: two published fee amounts

The latest general Croatian Avis terms publish a €64 taxable non-EU border charge for Bosnia, Montenegro and Serbia, while the previously reviewed Zadar location terms recorded €76 plus tax. These are different sources, not proof that Avis changed a rate on a specific date. Borderwise withholds a comparable Avis numerical total and requests a pickup-branch quote.

More cautious fee arithmetic

Fixed-per-rental and capped-per-day fees are computed only where the published model permits it. When a supplier lists destination zones but does not explain stacking across several countries, the calculator requests a quote rather than adding zones. Missing fees are never treated as zero.

What an automated source check actually confirms

The optional Cloudflare source probe checks whether an allowlisted rental-company page responds and sometimes whether selected published wording is still present. Page availability does not confirm rental permission or contract terms. A policy record becomes unverified after 30 days without editorial re-review.

Borderwise does not currently collect public traveler reports, send subscribed email alerts, or track national border wait times. The app offers an on-device calendar reminder for travelers who provide a pickup date.
